In Kasaala, poverty often forces bright students out of school, limiting their future prospects and perpetuating hardship. TECDI believes education is the key to breaking this cycle. Would you like to brighten the life of a child with education? Our sponsorship program connects supporters directly with students in need, providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Our Sponsorship Process
We partner with head teachers at Kasaala, James Ndonyi Memorial, Ngwate, and Kimweli secondary schools to identify promising students from underprivileged families who are at high risk of dropping out due to financial constraints.
Selection Criteria: Focus on students who demonstrate academic potential and face significant financial need.
Sponsor Commitment: While sponsors can choose their commitment duration, we encourage supporting a child until they complete their current educational level. Two or more sponsors can pool resources.
Transparency: Sponsors receive photos of their sponsored child/ren and an annual project report detailing contributions, expenditures per child, and educational progress.

Supports high school leavers (Grade D- to C-) enrolling in polytechnics OR primary leavers pursuing similar training…
