Facing Challenges, Creating Opportunities in Kasaala
Kasaala Location, adjacent to Tsavo East National Park, faces significant challenges. With over 28,000 residents, this arid region experiences high poverty levels, limited access to education and healthcare, and the impacts of climate change like frequent droughts.
Founded in 2005, TECDI is a community-based organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our mission focuses on four key areas:
- Education: Providing sponsorships for orphans and vulnerable children.
- Infrastructure: Developing essential school and community facilities.
- Environment: Promoting wildlife conservation and sustainable land use.
- Health: Raising awareness and improving access to health and sanitation.

How We Make a Difference

Education Sponsorships
Unlock a child’s potential. Our sponsorships help bright, underprivileged students access high school, college, and vocational training.

Infrastructure Development
Building the foundations for learning. We construct classrooms, science labs, sanitation facilities, and provide essential resources.

Environment & Sustainability
Nurturing the land for future generations. We promote drought-resistant farming, tree planting, and environmental education.

Hygiene, Health & Sanitation
Improving community well-being. We focus on health education, access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and disease prevention.
You Can Change a Life Today
Whether you donate, sponsor a child, volunteer your time, or visit Kasaala, your support directly impacts lives. TECDI is a volunteer-run, cost-effective charity where over 90% of funds go directly to beneficiaries.
